Jason A. Herman fights insurance companies. When an insurance company receives a claim—whether it is for personal injuries, wrongful death, a property insurance claim, life insurance claim, or uninsured motorist claim—the insurance company must evaluate that claim in good faith. Mr. Herman represents people against insurance companies that fail to act in good faith by refusing to pay and settle claims when the facts show that they should, by delaying claims, and by their attempts to intimate people into accepting less than their claim is worth.
Mr. Herman has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers every year since 2010 as a Rising Star, one of a select group of lawyers under the age of 40 comprised of only the top 2.5% of lawyers practicing in Florida.
Virtually every case involves insurance, whether a direct claim against a person’s own insurance or a third-party insurance claim against another person or business’s insurance company. Mr. Herman focuses on finding all available insurance and exerting maximum pressure on the insurance companies in trial and in settlement negotiations.
